New equipment demonstration at BASF

BASF was delighted to welcome the GRACO Roadshow to its Alfreton manufacturing plant recently.  GRACO, manufacturer of specialist application equipment for spray foam contractors, spent the day demonstrating its newly developed I-reactor.

This compact machinery integrates generator, compressor and spraying machine into one unit.  The result is an efficient machine that needs less energy to run and, being lighter than standard equipment, will be easier to transport and handle on site.

BASF invited a range of existing WALLTITE contractors alongside specialist insulation companies considering joining the WALLTITE programme.  The idea was to provide existing contractors with the opportunity to get up to speed with the latest equipment designs, while also being able to introduce new contractors to the full WALLTITE concept.

Some 24 contractors attended the day and Allan Jones, Business Development Specialist for Graco, was delighted with the response.  “There is no substitute for meeting people face-to-face, particularly when you have a new piece of equipment to show.  Literature and descriptions are no match for a live demonstration.  We had lots of interest from the contractors so the day was well worthwhile for us and we hope to run similar events in the future.”

John Bullen, Sales Manager for WALLTITE was equally enthusiastic.  “We are seeing a real surge of interest in our Foam Master programme and the GRACO day provided us with a great opportunity to get a group of contractors together to update them on our offer.    GRACO is a good company to work with and we felt that the demonstration gave our contracting customers some genuinely useful information.”
