Since we launched our CPD presentation (Improving energy efficiency and airtightness in buildings with spray foam insulation) eighteen months ago, we have visited over 150 practices and talked to over 1100 individual architects and surveyors. What’s been the reaction and what is there to learn?
The main reaction that we get is one of interest. Many specifiers in the UK are not yet familiar with the concept of a spray foam insulation solution and initially are very curious about it.
Once the information is presented by our Technical Specialists and the facts are reviewed it is easy for the specifier to see the value of this proven technology. An effective, air-tight insulation system that is versatile enough to cope with any substrate and follow the geometry of any building shape is highly appealing. Combined with excellent thermal properties and speed of installation, Polyurethane Spray Foam is the insulation that fits today’s tough standards.
We still have a few dates available for CPD presentations this year. For larger practices we visit to give a full lunch-time presentation while smaller firms like our shorter, more focused presentations.
